AUGMENTIN DUO TABLET is used to manage bacterial infections, including middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, and abdominal infections. The symptoms of bacterial infection include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.
It contains a combination of medicines called, which belong to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.
AUGMENTIN DUO TABLET is not recommended for use if you have liver problems or jaundice upon taking an antibiotic or amoxicillin-clavulanate. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are suffering from a hepatic impairment, liver disease, renal impairment, kidney disease, glandular fever, or are unable to pass water properly.
AUGMENTIN DUO TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary. It should be used with caution in children (aged below 12 years) and elderly patients (above 50 years).

Indications:Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid (Clavulanate) is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, bones, skin, and other parts of the body. Clavulanic acid is used to treat bacterial infections of the stomach, skin, joints, muscles, and rheumatic disorders. St. John's wort is used to treat bacterial infections of the stomach, skin, joints, muscles, and rheumatic disorders. Please take this medicine by mouth. Prevention of recurrent infections: Take this medicine by mouth when you and/or your partner are not able to take other medicines.Prescription onlyAmoxicillin is used for the short-term relief of bacterial infections (e.g, skin and soft tissue infections, bronchitis and other bronchitis symptoms). Clavulanic acid should be used with caution in the elderly (rarelyiffinay). Use with caution in the following cases may be exacerbated: Heart, blood, and kidney problems.
